Hi, my name is Ayanna. I've been in the field for about 8 years. When I was chosen as the Harcum Star it was such an honor. Harcum allowed me to be able to gain experience working with small and large animals. New Bolton Center & University of Penn Veterinary Hospital are such esteemed practices and I was truly fortunate to work with them both with Harcum's practicum program.  I have had a love for animals since I was a child. I have 3 cats (June, Meeko & Sarabi) and a dog named Jenna. I have a love for animals of all sizes such as a small rat to a large elephant. My life goals is to visit a wildlife sanctuary and see humpback whales in the ocean.
